lyrics

Death Come Creepin – Mance Lipscomb

Tell me what, you gonna’ do, when death come creeping in your room?
Oh my Lord, Oh my Lord, what shall I do!

You gonna’ run, you gonna’ run, you gonna’ seek your hiding place.
Oh my Lord, Oh my Lord, what shall I do!

Well, if I was a gambler, I’d throw them cards away.
Oh my Lord, Oh my Lord, what shall I do!

You better run, you better run, fall on your knees and pray.
Oh my Lord, Oh my Lord, what shall I do!

Well, God told Nicodemus, that you must be born again.
Oh my Lord, Oh my Lord, what shall I do!
